The August theme at ScrapGal is CONNECT!!!! Here are the layouts that I did for the newsletter.
Love this picture of me and Chris! It was taken on Memorial Day!
This layout is about a scrappy friend of mine and her husband. When I was thinking about what to create for this month's theme, I knew I wanted to do a layout about a bridge! I thought I could find some really cool railroad bridge pictures that Chris took. At the moment that I was thinking of this, Marlene posted a picture of this bridge on our LSS message board. PERFECT!!! I immediately emailed her to ask if I could use the picture and asked her to email me more and tell me her story!! What a great love story! She and her husband commuted over this bridge for over 2 years to each other before they got married!! It was an online romance that worked out perfectly!! I am so thankful that she allowed me to scrap this beautiful story!
