Ummmm, ladders? I guess that would make sense since cherries grow on trees!
Luckily, there were plenty of ripe cherry clusters that all 6 of us could reach!!
We all enjoyed it, but I think we enjoyed the ice cream and milkshakes afterwards more!! It was H. O. T.!!!!
Okay, off to the pool!!! It's a beautiful day today, 83 degrees, it'll probably be too cold for me to get in! I think I'll watch from the sidelines!!

Oh yeah.....we had a GREAT time in that HOT tent! I'm glad you didn't end up having to put me on your shoulders to get the cherries. That would have been awkward. LOL

My kids love to cherry pick. The first day of cherry picking was when we were leaving for vacation. So this is the first year we missed in 5. Oh well, my kids don't even like cherries. They just love climbing up high on the ladders. The darkest, sweetest ones are at the top. Just a hint for when your kiddos are bigger and you are braver.

Well I'm late, as usual, but these picture are fantastic! I don't think I've ever seen a cherry orchard before. So see... you're educating us through your blog. There's nothing like fresh sweet cherries... they remind me of my grandmother who always had them for us! Your kids will remember this for a long, long time.
